Fremont, NH: Linda A. (Hooper) Durocher, 79, of Fremont, and formerly of Amesbury, MA and St. Cloud, FL, died February 4, 2022 at Colonial Poplin Assisted Living Center in Fremont.

Born, raised and educated in Newburyport, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Samuel and Dorothy (Brown) Hooper, she was a member of the Newburyport High School Class of 1960.

A resident of Amesbury, MA for several years and an accomplished seamstress, Mrs. Durocher worked at Maxwell's Fabric Store in Amesbury.  After her marriage to the late Paul Durocher, they moved to St. Cloud, Florida, where she lived for thirty-two years and worked as a seamstress at Draperies by Betty and Lauren.

An accomplished artist in oils, Mrs. Durocher also enjoyed crocheting and sewing and preferred spending most of her time enjoying her home. She also enjoyed traveling around the United States.

Predeceased in 1999 by her beloved husband of nineteen years, Paul Durocher, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by stepsons, Michael Durocher and his wife Jill of Texas, and Mark Durocher and his wife Laurie, of Colorado a step daughter, Christine MacLaren of Florida, a sister-in-law Sharon Hooper of Amesbury, nieces, Terri Chapman, Marsha DiNardo, Cheryl DiNardo, Laureen Breen, Lisa Rochon, and Lynn Pesci, nephews, Craig Hooper and Eric Hooper and many great nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Janice (Hooper) Maguire and a brother Wayne Hooper.

A family interment service will take place in Florida and a Celebration of Life will be held locally for family and friends at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
