Obituary

Linda R. (Belt) Dul, 76, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Joseph Dul with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.

She was born in Rahns, Pennsylvania on June 30, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mae (Sherman) Lucy.

Linda was raised and educated in Pennsylvania. After high school she enlisted in the United States Navy proudly serving her country as yeoman 3rd class petty officer. She was stationed in Pensacola, FL., this is where she met her husband Joseph, who was also serving in the Navy. Linda was later employed at Raytheon, retiring from her position as expediter in the missile division. She enjoyed cooking polish foods for her family. Linda was a skilled knitter and she cherished trips to the beach with her children. She loved reading a good book and her grand doggies. Linda was a communicant of All Saints Parish in Haverhill and the former St. Michael Parish. She was a good mother and wife; she will be dearly missed.

Besides her husband, Linda is survived by her children Jeremy Dul of Haverhill, Jennifer Dul and her husband Alvaro Pereira of Haverhill, and Becky Dul and her partner Greg Drover of Haverhill, her grandchildren Kasia Dul and Bowen Dul, her brother John Belt of Michigan, her sister-in-law Barbara Hampton of Idaho, and 6 half brothers and sisters. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Linda was sadly predeceased by her daughter-in-law Sarah Dul.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 9-11am at the Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. Her funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11:15am. Interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Haverhill. In lieu of the traditional flower arrangement, her family asks that you consider sending a plant in Linda's memory.
