Obituary


Plaistow, NH: Lillian R. (Dodier) Reynolds was born in Haverhill and lived there many years before moving to Plaistow. She died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

She was the daughter of the late William and Blanche (Fournier) Dodier. She attended Saint Joseph Grammar School and was a member of the Haverhill High School, Class of 1952.

She worked in the local shoe industry. She had also worked for the IRS, Western Electric Co., and Semi Conductor Circuits Inc.

Mrs. Reynolds enjoyed Line Dancing, playing cards with family and friends and taking trips to Foxwoods with her sisters and other family members.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ernest A. Reynolds of Plaistow, NH. Her two sons, Ernest C. Reynolds and his wife, Janice of Haverhill, MA and Mark A. Reynolds and his wife, Meg of Haverhill, MA. Her two grandchildren, James T. Reynolds and Patrick E. Reynolds. Her three great- grandchildren, Ethan Reynolds, Clayton C. Broderick and Kristopher D. Santos. Her brother, Richard Dodier of Lincoln, AR and her sister, Marie Dionne of Nashua, NH. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her.

Mrs. Reynolds was predeceased by her brothers, William J. Dodier, Jr., Leo Dodier, and Joseph Dodier. Her sisters, Claire Henderson, Theresa Beaudry, Evelyn DesRoches, Lorraine Harris, Cecile Chouinard, and Jeannette Proulx. Her grandson, Kristin G. Broderick and her step-mother, Florence (Comeau) (Ravgiala) Dodier also predeceased her.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 3-6:00 PM at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA 01832. Her funeral will begin on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 9:00 AM at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue in Haverhill. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Haverhill.
