Hampstead, NH:  Leo F. Murphy, Jr., 71, of Hampstead, NH and formerly of Haverhill, MA, died on October 15, 2019 at Parkland Medical Center, Derry.

Born in Beverly, MA, the son of the late Leo F. and Dorothy E.  (Muenzner) Murphy, he attended schools in Essex, MA and Ossipee, NH.  Leo worked in the automotive industry for Auto Body Sub Repair in Plaistow and for several years at Burke's Auto Body.

Leo was young at heart and often reiterated that you should "never lose the kid in you" and lived by those words.  He was very devoted to his family and enjoyed listening to the Rolling Stones, watching his favorite Boston sports teams, clam digging, playing darts and riding his Harley.

Leo will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Michele (Ingalls); four daughters, Heather R. Moran and her husband, John P. of Salem, Jobeana A. Perisa and her husband, James of Garden City, NY, Bianca J. Murphy and Brianna A. Murphy, both of Plaistow; two brothers, Kevin Murphy of Ossipee and Kenneth Murphy of Amesbury, MA; four sisters, Sharon Savino of Beverly, MA, Dorothy Van Dyke and Marsha Johnson, both of Ossipee, and Linda Little of Wilson, NC; six grandchildren, Brady Moran, Shea Moran, Maeve Moran, Jackson Perisa, Ashton Perisa and Abigail Perisa, several nieces, nephews and cousins; a lifelong best friend, Gary Karlen of Salisbury, MA and  his former wives, Nancy (Rollins) Willis and Robin (Hayward) Murphy.

Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, October 20, 2019, from 2 to 4 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  A funeral service will follow at 4:15 PM in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, a Go Fund Me page has been set up to accept donations in Leo's memory to help defray final costs www.gofundme.com/f/bianca-murphy .
