Haverhill, MA:  Lenore L. (Gilbert) Raymond, 86, of Haverhill, MA, died on January 1, 2018 at Penacook Place, Haverhill.

Born in Queens, New York City, NY on February 3, 1931, the daughter of the late Lionel and Laurette (Paquette) Gilbert, she attended Haverhill schools, graduating from Haverhill High School.  Primarily a housewife and homemaker, she had briefly worked for Western Electric Company, North Andover and worked as a part time Secretary at the former St. Joseph Parish, Haverhill.

Mrs. Raymond was a member of Sacred Hearts Parish of So. Lawrence and the former St. Joseph Parish, Haverhill.   She enjoyed making rosary beads and has sent over 1,000 pairs to Russia and South America.

The widow of the late Alphonse Raymond, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Cheryl Raymond of Nottingham, NH and Robert A. L. and Eileen Raymond of Nashua, NH; three grandchildren, Cassandra Raymond, Robert Raymond and Christopher Raymond and four great grandchildren, Victoria, Vincent, Vanessa, and Decature.  She was pre-deceased by a son, Gary A. Raymond, who died November 1, 2007.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, January 29, 2018, from 9 – 10 AM at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at Sacred Hearts Parish, So. Lawrence, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill.
