East Hampstead: Kevin C. Kimball, age 70, of East Hampstead, died January 6, 2022, at Holy Family Medical Center in Methuen, MA.
Born and raised in Methuen, son of the late Arthur J. and Dorothy M. (Crombie) Kimball, he was a member of the Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational and Technical High School Class of 1970. Kevin served in the U.S. Navy Reserves and was employed as a mechanic for thirty years for the Methuen Department of Public Works until his retirement.
An accomplished drummer, Kevin was a member of the Eckoes, a 1960's and 1970's rock band that entertained at local venues. He was a devoted grandfather and an avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He loved taking in a game at Fenway Park and also enjoyed trips to the beach, watching movies and old westerns and also enjoyed listening to jazz and classic rock music. Kevin was known as a kind and light hearted man with an infectious laugh who would do anything for his beloved family.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of twenty-five years, Beverly (Parsons) Kimball, a son, Kevin C. Kimball, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Allenstown, NH, a daughter, Jennifer Bradish and her husband Joseph of Salem, NH, a step-son, Christopher Flathers and his wife Sarah of Greensboro, NC, a step-daughter, Teresa Morasse and her husband James of Sandown, two brothers, Arthur J. Kimball of Methuen and Rand Kimball and his wife Kim of Sandown, grandchildren, Brandon Kimball, Lea Kimball, Paige Bradish, Joey Bradish, Henry Flathers, Allison (Flathers) Gagnon, Stephanie Flathers, Jacqueline Flathers, Max Morasse, and Josh Morasse, two great grandchildren, Violet Gagnon and Willow Nolan , and a niece, Rachel Kimball. He was predeceased by his nephew, Douglas Kimball.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kevin's Life Celebration to be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will follow at 3:15 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Kevin's name be made to The Disabled American Veterans, or to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
