Kenneth F. "Ken" Higgins, age 68 of Plaistow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. He was born in Lowell, MA on September 11, 1947 the son of Pauline C. (Tellier) and the late John F. Higgins. He was raised and educated in Lowell and graduated from Keith Academy in Lowell.

For several years, Ken worked as a bus driver for the MVRTA in the greater Merrimack Valley area.

An avid outdoorsman, Ken was a lifetime member of the Plaistow Fish & Game Club and a member of the Tyngsboro, MA Sportsman's Club. Ken and his wife, Cindy enjoyed riding their motorcycle with their friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Ken is survived by his wife, Cynthia M. (Minton) Higgins of Plaistow. His mother, Pauline C. (Tellier) Higgins of Lowell. His sons; Jason Felton and his fiancé, Melinda Adams of Derry and Matthew Felton of Plaistow. His sister, Charlene McKenney of Tewksbury. His grandchildren; Savanna and Ryan Houle and Jackson Felton also survive him.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mr. Higgin's Life Celebration on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 4-8 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Rt. 121A), Plaistow, NH 03865. His funeral will begin on Wednesday at 9 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Luke the Evangelist at Holy Angels Church, 8 Atkinson Depot Road in Plaistow. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Plaistow.
