Kaye (Blakeley) Horton, 67, of Sandown, NH., formerly from Sandown, NH., passed away on January 31, 2018. Born in Santa Rosa, CA on August 10, 1950, she attended Cloverdale High School and graduated with the Class of '68, and later graduated from Oakland Community College with an Associates in Business. Kaye worked for the US Embassies and later retired from the IRS after 40 years of faithful service.

Kaye was predeceased by her loving husband Barry, and is the daughter of the late William and Irene (Pittings) Blakeley of Ashland, WI. She is survived by her son Edward E. Horton and his wife Jeannette of Danville, NH., sister Barbara Horton of Goffstown, NH., and sister Patricia (Blakeley) Thornton and her husband Joe of Columbus, Georgia, and sister-in-law Carla Horton, of Saugus, MA., grandson Jeremy Murphy of Danville, NH., and granddaughter Brandy Borges of Danville, NH.

Kaye was a dedicated dog lover and bred Golden Retrievers under the name "Blakeley Goldens". A thoughtful and generous woman, she donated one puppy from every litter as a service dog to help the handicapped. Golden retrievers were her passion, and Kaye made friends quickly, everywhere she went. An avid puzzle hobbyist, Kaye loved to while away her free time constructing difficult puzzles worthy of framing.

Friends and family are invited to Kaye's Calling Hours Saturday May 5, 2018 from 1-3pm at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home , 116 Main Street Plaistow, NH. There will be a private gathering of family and close friends in the spring of 2018. Donations in her name may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, the Golden Retriever Foundation, or the Sandown Fire Department, of which she gratefully accepted their kind help and support.
