PLAISTOW, NH: Kathryn G. (Meehan) Berrett, 98, formerly of Belmont, NH and Plaistow, died April 12, 2017 at Penacook Place in Haverhill, MA.

Born in Stoneham, daughter of the late John and Annie (Mosley) Meehan, she graduated Stoneham High School with the Class of 1935. She served in the U.S. Navy as a Yeoman, 2 ^nd Class during W.W. II.

Primarily a housewife and homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Berrett was employed in the Criminal Investigation Unit of the I.R.S.

An avid reader and hockey fan, Mrs. Berrett enjoyed traveling and was a former member of Saint Joseph Parish of Belmont.

The widow of Ralph E. Berrett, Jr., she is survived by a son , Ralph E. Berrett, III, and his wife Patricia of Billerica, MA, a daughter, Michelle Sykes, of Plaistow, six grandchildren, six  great grandchildren, a son-in-law Clarence "Skip" Leveille and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter Yvonne Leveille, and a son-in-law, Carl Sykes, and sisters, Anna Foley and Helen Rooney.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service to be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
