Kay moved to Plum Island in 1996 and established her full-time residence, where she enjoyed most summer days on the beach, extending many an invitation to family and friends to join her. She loved living on the island where she took advantage of power walking and exercising.
A devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Kay hosted her large family for holiday dinners around her table that included great food and lively conversation. She was an avid reader, and an accomplished pianist and appreciated all types of music. She also enjoyed tole painting, attending yard sales, traveling and cruising, and a nightly dose of Jeopardy.
