Plaistow: Mrs. Katherine M. (Adams) Lynn, age 74, of Plaistow, NH, and a former long-time resident of Groveland, MA, passed away at the North Shore Medical Center in Salem, MA, on August 29, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
Katherine was born on June 10, 1945, in Medford, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Arnold H. Adams and Marie (Amodeo) (Adams) Lefave and step-daughter of the late Harold Lefave. She was raised and educated in Melrose, MA and attended Melrose High School. She married the love of her life, Francis X. Lynn, in 1961, and together, they raised their two daughters, Sherry and Kathy. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.
Katherine was dedicated to her family and never missed an occasion to spend time with them. She worked for many years as a secretary for a pharmaceutical company and later in the Tax Collector's Office for the Town of Danville, NH, until her retirement in 2017. She enjoyed crafts and playing Keno and bingo. A member of St. Anne's Parish of Hampstead, Katherine was a resident of Danville for fourteen years before moving to Salem and most recently to Plaistow.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-eight years, Francis X. Lynn of Plaistow, two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Daniel Bosse of Sandown, and Sherry and Brian Warner of Haverhill, MA, three grandchildren, Courtney Troisi and her husband Vincent, Amanda Day and her husband Gregory and Brittany Buttery and her fiancé Alex Colon, three great grandchildren, Gianna, Aria, and Wesley, three brothers, Herbert Adams, of Tennessee, Robert Adams of Wilmington, MA and John Lefave of Paxton, MA, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers, Gerald Adams and Arnold Adams, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Thursday, September 5, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anne's Church, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery in Groveland, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Stratham, NH SPCA. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow.
