Plaistow, NH: Karen Ann (McPartland) Tessier, 67, of Plaistow, NH, passed away on July 5, 2018.
Born in Stoneham, MA , the daughter of the late John McPartland and Elizabeth (Lilly), she was raised in the Stoneham/Wakefield area before moving to Haverhill where she worked for Forest Acres Apartments cleaning apartments for over twenty years. Karen also lived in Salem, NH before recently settling in Plaistow, NH.
Karen was a member of Holy Angels Church where she and her husband Ed volunteered at the food bank. She enjoyed reading to the point where she was known to pick up a good book and not go to bed until she was finished. New Harbor Maine was her favorite destination, which usually included frequent stops at Moody's Diner and the Cupboard Café. Karen loved her family and everyone that she met was made to feel like a member of it. She was known as "Momma T" to many of her son's friends. But most of all she dearly loved and cherished her four grandchildren.
Karen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of almost 40 years Edward L. Tessier, Jr., her son Edward L. Tessier III and his wife Kassia of Derry, NH, her daughter Jennifer Kimball and her husband Michael of Plaistow, NH, grandchildren Ava and Cassidy Tessier, Sophia and Elizabeth Kimball, and Karen's nephew who was like a third child to her, Ronnie Ermini and his wife Michelle of Southington, CT.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Tessier's Life Celebration to be held on Monday July 9, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will begin on Tuesday July 10, 2018 at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Holy Angels Church of St. Luke The Evangelist Parish, 8 Atkinson Depot Rd., Plaistow, NH.
