Karen Elizabeth Dow, 65, of Haverhill, passed away suddenly on March 10, 2021 at St Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton.

Karen will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul with a heart of gold. She thrived on the love she gave to and received from her family and friends. Family members always marveled at her ability to recall memories of childhood experiences in great detail, including vacations and gatherings with relatives. Those close to Karen will remember the numerous challenges she faced throughout her life. This past year had been particularly tough, as she struggled with the detrimental effects of isolation, as so many have. She missed seeing her family and friends, who brought such joy to her life.

She is predeceased by her parents Mary Snyder Dow and Richard Burnell Dow, as well as her sister Lois Dow.

Karen is survived by stepmother Chrysse Dow and siblings Virginia Hush (James), Eileen Campbell (Steve), Richard Dow Jr., Stephen Dow (Kate), and Michael Dow (Anna). Karen leaves behind several nieces and nephews: Catriona, Rhodie, Allison, Stefanie, Tripp, Holden, Theo, Phinneas, Henry, Tad, Libby and Lillian. Karen was also a very proud great aunt to Amelie and Oliver.

In addition, Karen leaves behind many dedicated and loving friends and relatives including Kathy A. and Susan S.
