Hampstead, NH: Kaare H. Klevjer, 69, a resident of Hampstead for the last ten years, died March 23, 2020 at his home, following a period of declining health.

Born in Oslo, Norway, son of the late Hedeman and Randi (Olsen) Klevjer, he graduated from the Norwegian School of Technology at Trondheim University and came to the United States in 1974.

Mr. Klevjer was employed locally as a computer software engineer Honeywell, Digital Equipment Corporation, and Teradyne until his retirement and was the holder of three patents in computer engineering. Until recently, he was involved in daytrading.

Mr. Klevjer was an avid reader, who enjoyed classical music, Math and following the stock market.

Predeceased by his wife Linda (Davidson) Klevjer, he is survived by a son Erik K. Klevjar Whitesides and his wife Mary of Washington, D.C., a daughter, Elizabeth Wedge and her husband Michael of Durham, NC, a granddaughter Kora M. Whitesides and extended family back in Norway.

Services will be private at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home
