Atkinson, NH: June G. (Martel) Nicoli, 82, a resident of Atkinson for the past twenty-three years, died peacefully at her home on May 29, 2024, following a long illness, and surrounded by her family.

Born, raised and educated in Chelsea, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Mugford) Martel. She was also a resident of Everett, MA for twenty-six years until moving to Southern NH in 1997. Mrs. Nicoli had been employed at Watson Mailing Co. and other distribution centers.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she most enjoyed being a housewife and homemaker.

She was predeceased in 2019 by her husband, Thomas J. Nicoli, and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons, Thomas J. Nicoli, Jr. of Kent, Ohio, Chad J. Nicoli of Danvers, MA, and Darrin Nicoli of Kent, Ohio; a daughter and son-in-law, April and Peter Weiland of Limestone, ME, a brother Edward Martel of Florida, a sister Mary MacDonald of Revere, MA; five grandchildren, Tanya Roy, Heather Smith, Kristina Nicoli, Stephanie Nicoli and Jesse Nicoli; and three great-grandchildren, Zach, Brody and Kaylee.

Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service to be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 9 a.m. at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. Those attending are requested to meet at the Administration Building by 8:45 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow, NH.
