Haverhill, MA:Mrs. Juliette I. (Panneton) Lacerte, 84, of Haverhill, longtime former resident of Hilldale Ave., died Friday, January 27, 2012, at the Penacook Place Nursing Home.

Born in Haverhill, MA, daughter of the late Adelard and Noella (Provencal) Panneton, she attended St. Joseph Grammar School and St. James High School, graduating with the Class of 1945.
She worked in the local shoe industry for thirty-five years for various shoe companies, including the Lesande Shoe Co. as a fancy stitcher, the Allen Shoe Co. as a forelady, and for the Bernie Shoe Co.

Mrs. Lacerte was a member of All Saints Parish and the United Shoe Workers of America (AFL-CIO).She enjoyed knitting and bowling, and was very devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The widow of the late Roland R. Lacerte who died in 2008, she is survived by a son, Kenneth R. Lacerte of Haverhill; two grandchildren, Jeffrey K. Lacerte of Haverhill and Meaghan R. Lacerte of Tilton, NH; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was pre-deceased by a son, Donald P. Lacerte, who died in 2001.

There will be no calling hours.A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.Arrangements are under the direction of Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA.
