Julia M. (Sterner) Pearson, 86, of Sandown, NH, passed away on Tuesday September 21, 2021, in West Newfield, ME, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, who were caring for her as her health declined.

Born and raised in Beverly, MA, she was the daughter of the late Allan and Marjorie (Morgan) Sterner. Julia was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1953, and Beverly Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1956.

When Julia wasn't working or taking care of her loving family, she enjoyed many activities. As a practical hobby she liked to sew for herself and her family. For relaxation she liked to swim and sunbathe. She also found joy in ice skating with her children and she loved oil painting and playing piano.

Julia will be sadly missed and forever in the hearts of her family; sons, Wayne Pearson and his wife, Diane of Kittery, ME, Nils Pearson and his wife, Pat of Acton, ME, Torrey Pearson and his wife, Laurie of West Newfield, ME, Erik Pearson and his fiancé, Rebecca Sage of Austin, TX, daughters, Sonja Larkin and her husband, Dwight of Sandown, NH, Heidi Pearson of Holyoke, MA, Tenley Schultz and her husband, Daryl of Westfield, WI, sister, Joyce Pelletier and her husband, Roland of Beverly, MA, nineteen grandchildren, many, many, great grandchildren, and several nieces. Julia was predeceased by her husband of sixty-five years, Ralph Pearson, brother, Robert Sterner, sister, Jane Stanaitis, and three nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to her Funeral Service at 12 pm on Tuesday September 28, 2021 at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
