Danville, NH: Judy E. (Harrison) Moore, 72, of Danville, died Saturday, September 15, 2018 at High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill, MA.
Born in Danvers, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Elmer and Doris (Rogers) Harrison, and step-daughter of the late Ernestine (Steadman) Harrison, she was raised and educated in Salem, NH, graduating from the former Woodbury High School with the Class of 1964.
A longtime resident of Danville, and former member of the Danville Baptist Church, she served as Superintendent of the church Sunday school for several years and President of the PTA from 1970 until 1980.
A co-owner and operator of Reinforced Plastics Inc. of Danville, Mrs. Moore was previously employed as a nursing assistant at the Eventide Nursing Home in Exeter and as a home health aide for the Haverhill Visiting Nurse Association.
Mrs. Moore was a member of Saint Matthew's United Methodist Church of Sandown, and was very devoted to her husband and children and their families and in her words enjoyed "holding the whole mess together".
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Barry Moore, sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Courtney Johnson of Danville, and Shawn and Susan Moore of New Durham, daughters and sons-in-law, Kristina and Bruce Merrill of Salisbury, MA, Kimberly Kimball of Raymond, Sandra and Robert Baker of LaPorte, IN, and Joni and John Boggiatto of Plaistow, a brother and sister-in-law, David and Susan Paradine of California, a sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Gordon Waterman of Indiana, a special niece, Tammy Kimball of Raymond, also thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Relatives and friends are invited to Judy's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will take place on Thursday at 12 p.m. in Saint Matthew's United Methodist Church, 328 North Main St., Sandown, NH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA to help support Judy's Journey for Life Team of the Relay for Life.
