Plaistow, NH:Joseph J. Sawtell, 31, died March 5, 2012 in Concord, NH.



Born in Cambridge, MA, he was the son of Shirley (Cook) Sawtell and step'son of Richard White both of Plaistow, and son of Donald Sawtell of Cambridge.



He was educated in Haverhill Public Schools and attended Haverhill High School where he was a member of the Junior Varsity hockey team. A former longtime member of Haverhill Youth Hockey where he played left wing, Joseph also enjoyed camping and outdoor activities. A former resident of Plaistow, he was self employed as a website designer.



Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother Daniel Dufour of Plaistow; maternal grandfather and his wife John and Jean Cook of Andover, NH; maternal grandmother and her husband Shirley and Ed Young of Christmas, FL; nephews Jakob Dufour and Lukas Dufour of Plaistow; several aunts, uncles and cousins.



Private funeral services will be held at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
