Joseph E. Ravgiala, 88, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, MA, passed peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2024 at the Nevins Nursing Home in Methuen surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was the husband of Jeanine (Wightman) Ravgiala to whom he was married for 66 years.

Joseph was born in Haverhill on June 19, 1936, son of the late Adolph and Florence (Comeau) Ravgiala. He was a machinist graduate of Haverhill Trade School, class of 1954.

He was a longtime parishioner of All Saints Parish in Haverhill and proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army. Following his service Joseph was employed as a tool and die maker at AT&T in North Andover for 45 years and worked a second job at Microwave Engineering Corp, until his retirement. Dedicated and hardworking, Joseph worked from early morning to late at night for his family.  Joseph also found time to be a member of Amvets post 147 in Haverhill. He enjoyed spending time with his family, antique cars, Disney World, holidays, a cup of "Joe", and telling stories to all that would listen.

Besides his beloved wife, Jeanine (Wightman) Ravgiala, Joseph is survived by two daughters, Debra Ravgiala and Cheryl Pouliot; son-in-law Steve Pouliot; daughter-in-law Linda Ravgiala; and grandchildren Elizabeth Razza, Angela Razza, Trevor Pouliot, and Tyler Pouliot.

He was sadly predeceased by his brother Adolph Ravgiala.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 9am – 10am at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway Haverhill, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at All Saints Parish in Haverhill at 10:30am. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery Haverhill.
