Haverhill, MA: Joseph A. Milette, 77, of Haverhill, died on Sunday March 17, 2019 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA.

Born and raised in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Urbain and Georgette (LeClair) Milette. Joseph attended St. James School and the North Bennet Street School in Boston to learn welding. He later became a union welder in the UA Local 131 Plumbers & Steamfitters, ATU Local 448, and ATU Local 823.

Joseph loved his family and friends. He was known for telling many jokes to make others laugh and be happy. Joseph was an avid reader of historical books and attended church regularly. In his younger years he was a lightweight boxer and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Sportster.

Joseph will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons Joseph Milette, Jr., and his wife Melanie of Rowley, MA, Daniel Milette and his wife Rebekah of Danvers, MA, daughter Amelia Milette and her partner Eric Walsh of Danville, NH, seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his brother George Milette and sister Georgette Wartchow.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday March 27, 2019 at 10 a.m. in St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hilldale Avenue, Haverhill.
