Obituary

Brentwood, NH: Joseph W. Lavoie, 53, a resident of Brentwood for the past twenty-four years, died on Tuesday, August 22, 2017.

Born in Derry, NH, son of Janet (Lafontaine) Lavoie and the late Norman Lavoie, he was raised and educated in Kingston and attended Sanborn Regional High School. As a child he was a member of the Kingston Cub Scouts, the Kingston Troop of the Boy Scouts of America and the Kingston Little League program.

A former resident of Plaistow, Joseph moved to Brentwood in 1993 and worked as a carpenter and cabinet maker for local cabinet companies and most recently at Specialized Plating of Ward Hill.

An avid New England Patriots fan, he also enjoyed golf and trips to South Beach. A typical "car guy", Joe enjoyed building street rods and attend races at New England Drag Way. He was also a devoted "Pepe" to his three grandchildren and was meticulous about keeping his back yard swimming pool in pristine condition.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty-four years, Linda G. (Durgin) Lavoie, his daughter and son-in-law, Samantha J. and Todd Gomber of Newmarket, his three grandchildren, Madison, Brayden and Jacob, his mother, Janet (Lafontaine) Lavoie of Hampstead, his brother and sister-in-law, Russell N. and Angie Lavoie of Charlotte, NC, his sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl A. and Michael Otero of Fremont, his sister Ellen M. Lavoie and her companion William Paige of Seattle, WA, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
