Sandown, NH:  Joseph "Joe" J. Kersulis, 91, of Sandown, NH and formerly of Cambridge, MA, Somerville, MA and Billerica, MA, died on May 14, 2019 at the High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill, MA.

Born in Cambridge, MA, son of the late Paul and Mary (Ragouskas) Kersulis, he served in the United States Army as a Private First Class during World War II.

He worked as a Security Guard for twenty-five years at Draper Laboratories in Cambridge, MA.  He was a member of St. Anne's Parish, Hampstead, NH and the Carl Davis Post #34 of the American Legion, Plaistow, NH.  Mr. Kersulis was a soft-spoken, big-hearted man who was very devoted to his large, extended family.  In his spare time, you would find him outside either hunting for treasures with his metal detector or fishing.

He was predeceased by his wife, Cecelia (Repoza) Kersulis in 2004.  He is survived by a son, Leonard Rigione and his wife, Yvonne of Somerville, MA; a daughter, Jo-Ann Johnston and her husband, Harry of Sandown, NH and four generations of grandchildren.  He was also pre-deceased by a daughter, Leonora Millerick and a brother, Anthony Kersulis.

Relatives and friends may attend Mr. Kersulis' Life Celebration to be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019, from 2 to 5 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  His funeral will begin on Monday, May 20, 2019, at 9:45 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Anne's Church, 26 Emerson Ave., Hampstead, NH.  Burial with military honors will follow in Great Hill Cemetery, Chester, NH.
