Windham, NH: Joseph M. "Joe" Rosa, 56, a resident of Windham since 1998, died unexpectedly but peacefully, and surrounded by his family, on December 5, 2021 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston from complications of recently diagnosed lymphoma.
Born in Malden, Massachusetts, son of the late Joseph and Joanne (Travalini) Rosa, he was raised in Revere and graduated from Malden Catholic High School with the Class of 1983. He went on to attend Wentworth institute in Boston.
Joe was first employed for fifteen years as a programmer at the Internal Revenue Service in Andover. For the last twenty years Joe has worked for ADP of Salem, NH as the Chief Application Developer in Retirement Services.
A devoted husband and father, he was known as a compassionate and supportive friend to many of his extended family members and co-workers, many of whom considered themselves as close as siblings to him. He was an accomplished guitarist, who also enjoyed playing poker and taking part in family game night. He was the sought after partner to play Baggo, owing to his undefeated status in every tournament that he took part in. A fan of all Boston and New England sports teams, he was especially loyal to the Boston Bruins and he always looked forward to trips to Mohegan Sun, Las Vegas and the Maine coast.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of eight years, Janet E. (Lynn) Rosa, a daughter, Christina M. Rosa of Bedford, NH, a son Vincent J. Rosa of East Hampstead, NH, several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.
