Kingston, NH: Joseph M. Gerstman, 24, of Steam Boat Springs, CO, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in Colorado.

Born in Exeter, NH, he was raised and educated in Kingston, and attended the Bakie School, Sanborn Regional Middle School, and graduated from Sanborn Regional High School. He lived briefly in Burlington, VT, before moving to Colorado in 2010 where he worked as a head chef in a local restaurant.

Joseph was an avid fan of jam bands and enjoyed spending time with his friends and traveling to concerts.

He is survived by his father and step mother, Howard and Marie Gerstman of Ocala, FL, his mother and step father, Patricia and James Cullen of York, ME, a brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Christina Gerstman of Newburyport, MA, a sister, Samantha Gerstman of North Andover, MA, a niece, Sydney Gerstman, and paternal grandmother, Frances Gerstman of Florida.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH.
