Obituary

Newton, NH:  Joseph A. E. LeBlanc, 78, of Newton, NH, died on December 9, 2021 at the High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill, MA.

Born in Moncton, Province of New Brunswick, Canada, he attended High School in Moncton and came to the U. S. in 1963.  A naturalized United States Citizen and Vietnam Veteran, he served in the U. S. Air Force from 1965 to 1971.  Joseph worked as a HVAC Technician for the Gillette Company in North Andover, MA for twenty-five years.

A longtime resident of  Newton,  Joseph enjoyed golfing, fishing, kayaking and gardening.

Joseph will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty-nine years, Geraldine (Delano) LeBlanc; his son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Scarlette LeBlanc of East Kingston, NH; a step-daughter, Belinda Cassettari and her husband, Michael of Hampstead, NH; step-sons, Ron Newton and his wife, Ellen of Oregon, Jeff Viana of Sanbornton, NH and Robert Viana and his wife, Kelly of Naples, FL; four brothers, George LeBlanc of Moncton, N.B., Alfred LeBlanc of Moncton, N.B., John LeBlanc of Riverview, N.B. and Leo LeBlanc of Moncton, N.B.; two sisters, Amanda Melanson of Moncton, N.B. and Theresa LeBlanc of Steeves Mountain, N.B.; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  A Service of Remembrance will follow at 7:15 PM in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's memory may be sent to the Dementia Society of America, P.O.
