Obituary

Plaistow: Joseph A. Consentino, 67, a resident of Plaistow for the past seven years, died May 19, 2020 at Lawrence General Hospital, Lawrence, MA.

Born in Haverhill, son of the late Albert B. Jr. and Gloria (Leveille) Consentino and raised in Atkinson, Mr. Consentino attended Saint James Grammar School and Saint James High School in Haverhill and graduated from Timberlane Regional High School with the Class of 1971. He went on to receive his Associates Degree in Electronics Technology from Northern Essex Community College.

Mr. Consentino was employed as a tester and layout operator at Western Electric Co., A T & T Technologies and Lucent Technologies until his retirement in 2001, and was a member of Communication Workers of America Local 1365.

He was a former resident of Kingston NH for fourteen years until retiring to Lakeland, Florida in 2003.  Known as a "big tease" he was devoted to his grandchildren and enjoyed hosting them in his backyard pool. He also enjoyed woodworking and playing cards.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of forty-six years, Linda A. (Chinchiolo) Consentino, a daughter Regina M. Consentino and her loving companion Kenneth McMorris, Jr of Plaistow, a son James J. Consentino and his wife Carrie of Fairfield, VT., , grandchildren, Emma C. Gagne of Plaistow and Bentlee J. Consentino and Adelise G. Consentino of Fairfield, four brothers, Albert B. "Bert" Consentino III and his wife, Catherine of Pittsford, NY, Michael Consentino and his wife Lynda of Eloy, AZ, John Consentino and his loving companion, Kim Dumont of Manchester, NH and Matthew Consentino and his loving companion Donna Poulin of Raymond, NH, three sisters, PatriciaAnn "Fifie" Consentino and her wife Kim Sowles of Tilton, NH, Mary Condon and her husband John of Westminster, MA, and Delia "Deedee" Consentino and her wife, Susan Montoya of Glendale AZ and a sister-in-law, Gayle (Chinchiolo) Chatfield and her husband, Patrick of Haverhill, MA, also several aunts, an uncle  and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to the national health crisis, relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass to be held on July 10, 2020 at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, 8 Atkinson Depot Road, Plaistow. A Celebration of his Life will be held on July 11, 2020 at his late residence.  Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Food Pantry of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish.
