Methuen: Joseph A. Bryant, 72, of Methuen, and a former longtime resident of Lawrence, died peacefully on June 18, 2020, at his home and surrounded by his loving family.
Raised and educated in Lawrence, Joe was a member of the Lawrence High School Class of 1966, and worked for thirty years as a security guard at Merrimack Valley Guard Service of Lawrence. He later retired from Reliability Security after ten years of service.
He was an accomplished cook and loved gathering his family together for a Thanksgiving feast and also enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren, regular rides to the beach, and hunting.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of forty-six years, Debra (Lang) Bryant, daughters, Joyce Moesta and her husband Roy and Sharon Bryant, all of Methuen, two grandchildren, Nathan Moesta and Braden Moesta, and many extended family members especially, all of the Lang Family that adopted him as one of their own..
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, June 24, 202 from 10 a.m. until 12 o'clock Noon at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH, using the guidelines of the State of New Hampshire for social distancing and the wearing of masks. His funeral service will begin at 12:15 p.m. in the funeral home, followed by burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Dana Farber Community Care Center, 5 Branch St., Methuen, MA, or to Brigham and Women's Hospital, 75 Francis St., Boston, MA.
