Joseph A. "Sonny" Bouchard, Jr. of Danville, NH, passed away on September 5, 2022 after a long illness. He was the son of the late Joseph A. Bouchard and Marguerite (April) Bouchard. Joseph was born September 1, 1942 in Salem, MA.

He graduated from Salem High School in 1960 and, following graduation, he served with the US Army Reserves in the 513 ^th Maintenance Battalion during the Vietnam War. Joseph was employed with Barry Manufacturing as a department manager from 1967 until his retirement in 2007.

Joseph is survived by his daughters Nicole (Bouchard) Crowley and her husband, 1Sgt William Crowley of Enterprise, Al; and Michelle (Bouchard) Paulin and her husband, Mitchell Paulin of Lowell, MA.  Joseph was the proud "Papa" to his grandchildren, Emileigh (Bouchard-Crowley) Barnes, Lillian, Madelynne & Fenway Crowley; his Great-Grandchildren, Sadie and Eil Barnes of AL and is also survived by a sister-in-law, Linda (Peterson) Bouchard of MA. Joseph also leaves behind his companion, Kathleen Moore, who he called "his angel".

Joseph loved music and would always have Elvis, Patsy Cline and Jim Reeves ready to listen to when he would travel to see his sister in Vermont. He was a devoted Boston sports fan and loved the Boston Red Sox and Patriots.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was pre-deceased by his sister, Gloria (Bouchard) Davis, brother, Ronald "Rusty" Bouchard and brother-in-law, Winston Davis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service to be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH, and followed by the rendering of military honors by the U.S. Army on the grounds of the funeral home.
