Haverhill: Jose F. Vasquez, Jr. 26, of Haverhill, died November 21, 2020 at the Lawrence General Hospital.

Born in Atlantic City, NJ, son of Jose F. and Carmen (Anziani) Vasquez, he was raised and educated in Lawrence, and graduated from Lawrence High School in 2014. He was a mechanic, employed by Firestone in Plaistow and previously worked at Jiffy Lube in Haverhill.

An accomplished guitarist, he also enjoyed basketball, computers, working on his car and in his younger years he enjoyed skate boarding.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters, Avianna and Astoria Vasquez of Stratford, NH, his parents Jose F. and Carmen Vasquez of Haverhill, brothers, Mateo B. Vasquez, Gilbert Vasquez, and Rony Vasquez, and his sister Mia Vasquez, all of Haverhill, his paternal grandparents, Herminia Jimenez and Gilberto Vasquez, maternal grandparents, Andrea Santos and Pedro Peziani, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts guidelines for social distancing, the wearing of masks and reduced numbers inside the funeral home.
