Plaistow, NH:  Jonathan Joseph Doherty, 30, of Plaistow, NH passed away on June 27, 2017 after a lengthy battle with heroin addiction and mental health illness.  Jonathan was a gifted builder and worked on many commercial and residential jobs with his father and Uncle Jim Doherty.  His ability to crunch numbers without writing them down and outwit those around him was impressive.  He valued time relaxing, rocking in his chair and listening to various genres of music.  With his towering stature he could give some of the biggest hugs and his smile was infectious. He had a beautiful love for all of God's creatures and he thoroughly enjoyed time spent with his dog, Aspen, and going for long walks with her.  Jonathan really enjoyed getting together with his family, in the backyard, with good food and laughter.  He was known to enjoy a good movie or two (thousand).

Jonathan was one of the most kind and sincere souls; always seeking peace in a world that can be so filled with hate and corruption.  He always wanted to see a world filled with love and free from harm.  He would never want to see someone walk in the same shoes he walked in.  His resolve was strong and he is now at peace.  He will remain the guardian angel for all, especially his family who loved him so very much.

He has left behind his mother, Deirdre J Doherty; father, John W Doherty; sisters Leah K Doherty and Sarah F Doherty; a nephew, Jasper Doherty Tremblay; Grandparents: Joseph F Hennigan, and Joan and Jim Casparro, and many many other loved ones to include family and friends.
