Haverhill,MA : Jonathan P. "Bubz" Sargent, 36 a lifelong resident of Haverhill, died November 9, 2016 at Merrimack Valley Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with substance abuse.

Born in Haverhill, the son of Steven Sargent and Lynne (White) Sargent, he was educated in the Haverhill Public School system. Jonathan worked as a carpenter and owned and operated High End Custom Cabinetry for many years.

He attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bradford and was an avid sports fan of the New England Patriots as well as the Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics. He enjoyed working out and keeping fit, drawing and collecting Star Wars memorabilia.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his father Steven Sargent of Hampton Falls, NH, and his mother Lynne (White) Sargent of Haverhill, his brother and sister-in-law Steven P. and Lindsey Sargent of Pelham, NH and his sister and brother-in-law Jennifer L. and William Sacco of Pelham, two nephews Grayson and Tommy and a niece Taylor, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jonathan's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral services will be private. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Mercy Street, c/o First Baptist Church, 122 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
