Plaistow, NH: John Sainsbury 92, longtime resident, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Exeter Hospital.

Born November 28, 1929, he was the son of the late Sylvester and Ruth (Estey) Sainsbury. John was a resident of Plaistow, NH for over fifty years.

John is preceded by his wife Naomi S. Sainsbury and a son, Steven Sainsbury. John is survived by his siblings; Robert and Kathleen (Alavosus) Sainsbury of Worchester, MA, Richard and Jean (Sainsbury) Hamilton of Tampa, FL, and Rev. Dr. Richard Sainsbury of East Swanzey, NH and sons; Martin and Dr. Cynthia (Riedel) Sainsbury of Bethel Park, PA, Samuel Sainsbury of Plaistow, NH, Jonathan Sainsbury of East Hartford, CT; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

John was an Army veteran with the 11 ^th Airborne Division, 127 ^th Airborne Engineer Battalion during the Korean Conflict. John was member of Operating Engineers for over sixty years. He was also a member of the Rock Church of Plaistow¸ NH.  John treasured every opportunity to fellowship with his brothers in Christ and especially the Veteran's Bible Study Group.  John was always willing to work hard and help others.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service to be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Rock Church, 90 Newton Road, (Route 108) Plaistow. Burial will follow at 2:30pm at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster highway, Boscawen, NH with Military Honors.
