IN LOVING MEMORY OF
John David
Lancaster
January 18, 1947 – July 5, 2024
John D. Lancaster, 77, a resident of Danville, NH, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 5, 2024 at his home. He was the son of the late John E. and Gladys A. (Hart) Lancaster.
He was raised and educated in Georgetown, MA. Serving in the US Navy, he gave valued service as a Navy Seal in Vietnam.
John is survived by his long-time companion Linda Senter of Danville, NH, his son David Lancaster of Florida, his sister Sharon Terry and her husband David of Florida, his brother-in-law Paul LaFleur, and his Aunt Shirley (Jones) Hart. He was sadly predeceased by his sister Suzanne LaFleur and uncle William Hart
John, together with his best friend of 50 years, Roger Young, established the business known as Bump & Grind Auto Body in Kingston. John was a successful, independent businessman involved in many different enterprises and businesses over the years, including Lancaster Construction.
One of the cleverest people you will have ever met, John could design and fabricate anything, and many people sought his advice in that regard. John knew more people than could be counted. He was one of a kind and could never be duplicated. He will be sorely missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 2pm sharp at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. Interment will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Plaistow, NH.
