Sandown, NH: John Keizer, Jr., 81 a resident of Sandown since 1986, died October 5, 2021 at Merrimack Community Hospice House, Merrimack NH.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late John and Margaret (Heslinga) Keizer, he was raised and educated in Cicero, and Berwyn IL, and later graduated from Morton East High School with the Class of 1958. He served for several years in the Army National Guard.

Mr. Keizer was employed as a materials analyst at Western Electric Co., AT&T Technologies, and Lucent Technologies until retiring at the age of 63.

In his younger years, Mr. Keizer enjoyed playing on men's softball leagues and camping. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots and still maintained an interest in the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs. In his later years, he enjoyed traveling across the United States and into parts of Mexico.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Diane M. (Lezon) Keizer and will also be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kerry A. and Shane Palmquist of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Courtney L. Keizer and Brian Mansfield of Stoneham, MA, four grandchildren, Leah, Logan, Landon and Lily, and four nieces.

A private family graveside service will be held under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
