Derry, NH: John W. "Jack" Walsh Jr. 63, of Derry NH passed away unexpectedly on December 13, 2016.
Jack was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on July 27, 1953. He lived most of his life at 28 Main Street in Plaistow NH and attended local schools. He graduated from Cardinal Cushing Academy in West Newbury MA in 1971 and attended Bentley College in Waltham MA.
A member of the former Holy Angels Parish of Plaistow, he was an avid sports fan and especially loved both the Patriots and Red Sox. In addition to watching sports, he enjoyed bowling.
He was predeceased by both parents, Dr. John and Shirley (Moulthrop) Walsh. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his three sisters, Joanne Simpson and her husband Thomas of Hampstead, Jennifer Bakanosky and her companion Richard Meaney of Seabrook, Judith Zaremba and her companion Leonard Meagher of Epping. He is also survived by his uncle, Robert T. Walsh of Berlin MA and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He also leaves two special lifelong friends Sylvia and Kay Kuzminski.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in Holy Angels Church of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Plaistow. Servcies will conclude with burial in Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover, Massachusetts.
