Newton, NH:  John L. Allred, 60, of Newton, NH and formerly of Plaistow, died on September 13, 2020 at his home.

Born in Lynn, MA, he was the son of Marlin and Edna (Murray) Allred.  John was educated in Amesbury, MA and Haverhill, MA, where he attended Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, graduating with the Class of 1978.

John was employed as a truck driver for J. B. Hunt.  An avid Red Sox fan, he also enjoyed taking care of his car and keeping it well maintained.

John will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his three brothers, Dean Allred of Seabrook, NH, Richard Allred of Seabrook, NH and Mark Allred of Merrimac, MA; two sisters, Lois Brooks of Newton, NH and Lorraine Gallant of Shrewsbury, MA and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services.  Donations in John's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
