Joanne D. (Tarra) Fournier, 83, a resident of Baldwinville, MA died on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the Leominster Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Leominster, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Fournier who passed away in 2023.

She was born on June 24, 1942 in Haverhill, MA and was the daughter of the late Lodovico and Josephine (Medaglia) Tarra . Joanne was raised and educated in Haverhill, MA. She was employed in the activities department at the Oxford Health Care Center in Haverhill, MA for many years until her retirement. Joanne enjoyed music, spending time with her family and her cat "mittens".

Joanne is survived by her daughter Kimberly Taylor and her husband Kristopher of Baldwinville, MA, her grandchildren Haley Taylor, Trever Taylor, Dylan Taylor, Averie Taylor, and Cheyenne Luz, her great granddaughter Phoebe, and her sister Sophia Gillis and her husband Buzz of Florida.

She was sadly predeceased by her son James Fournier.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 10am – 11:45am at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 12pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.
