Belmont, NH: Joan M. (Ormes) Wiltshire, 80, of Belmont and a former longtime resident of Jorgensen Lane in Hampstead, died October 24, 2018 at Concord (NH) Hospital.

Born, raised and educated in Somerville, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Edgar and Hazel (Corrigan) Ormes, she was a member of the Somerville High School Class of 1955 and a former member of the United Methodist Church of Somerville. Joan was employed for many years by New England Telephone as the secretary to the Vice President, until her retirement.

Joan and her late husband Jack, moved to Hampstead in 1997, and she remained there until relocating to Belmont to live with her daughter Kristen in 2015. An artist, working primarily in water colors, and an avid reader, she also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, shopping, and playing card games, especially Cribbage with Jack, and Gin Rummy and Uno with her grandkids. Some of her most important memories are of the times she enjoyed dining out regularly for lunch with her husband Jack and other family and friends.

Predeceased in 2014 by her husband, John F. Wiltshire, Sr., she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by a son John F. Wiltshire, Jr. and his fiancé Suzanne McGraw of Bristol, NH, two daughters, Deborah Wiltshire of Haverhill, MA and Kristen Czerwonka and her husband Michael of Belmont, five grandchildren, Patrick Coffey and his wife Patricia, Kyle Coffey, Paul Coffey, Jr, Ian Wiltshire, and Victoria Czerwonka, and a great grand-daughter Alexa Coffey.

Relatives and friends are invited to Joan's Life Celebration to be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Kingston. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN.
