Joan Marie Pichowicz, 87, of Newton New Hampshire, formerly of Plaistow NH passed at home surrounded by her loving family on March 14, 2023.

She was born to the late Peter and Angela Kisiel February 29, 1936, in Cambridge MA.

Joan was a Police Officer for the town of Plaistow NH in the 1970-1980's. Through the years she enjoyed collecting crystals and was an avid book reader. She loved to dance and always had a beautiful smile to share. Joan was very spiritual and had a deep faith in God. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Nick across country in their motorhome to Arizona along with spending many summers at their island cottage in Maine, and she also enjoyed vacationing on cruise ships to the Caribbean. She enjoyed playing slot machines and candy crush games on her I-pad.

Joan had a passion for all animals including dogs (her favorite: Lilly), cats, parrot, turkeys, racoons, a hawk and an owl.

She loved making her, 'green velvet punch' and baking her yearly 'Christmas braided cherry bread'.

Joans extended family would get together often for all occasions and laugh at the stories we would share. Since Joan was a leap year baby and she enjoyed reminding us with a smile, that in 2020 she turned 21 years old. She especially loved spending time with all of her grandchildren.

Her survivors consist of her 4 children, Irene Ray and her husband David of Plaistow NH, Darlene Lynch and husband Michael of Plaistow NH, Paula Peltonovich and husband Gary of Newton NH, Nicholas Pichowicz II. and wife Angela of Plaistow, NH,

Grandchildren; William Boucher & wife Erin, Angela Kinson & husband Jared, Tiffany Boucher, Gary Peltonovich II, Michael Lynch II, Jessica Peltonovich, Matthew Lynch, Katee Lynch, Amber Pichowicz & husband Jacob Bellotte, and Sara Pichowicz,

Great-Grandchildren; Cameron Allen Dow, Kayla Ray Kinson, Leah Angela Kinson, Collins Marie Lynch. Joan was also the great grandmother of late Jaimee Marie Lynch.

She was predeceased by her husband of 66 beautiful years Nicholas Albert Pichowicz, and her daughter Theresa Ann Chase and surviving husband Arthur Chase of Plaistow NH.

She was beloved by many and will be deeply missed by her family and loved ones.
