Haverhill – Jeremiah F. Murphy, Jr., 63, died Monday May 22, 2023 at his home following a brief illness.

Born June 27, 1959 in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Jeremiah and Rhoda (Sheppard) Murphy.

Jerry was a graduate of Haverhill High School, earned a Batchelor's degree from Merrimack College and
an MBA from SNHU. He enjoyed a long career as a program administrator of multiple adolescent and
geriatric psychiatry programs in hospitals throughout the eastern United States.

Jerry loved his motorcycle trips with friends, traveling, reading and trips to Las Vegas with his brothers.
He especially enjoyed any activity that involved his three nephews. He is survived by many friends.

Members of his family include two brothers Jeffrey Murphy and wife Paula of Treasure Island, FL; and
James Murphy, MD, and wife Kathy of Huntsville, AL; his three nephews Kevin, Connor, and Ryan, and
one great niece Logan.

He was predeceased by his brother Joel Murphy.
