Jeffrey M. Sargent, 76, a resident of Newton, NH, died on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the Maple Leaf Healthcare Center in Manchester, NH surrounded by his loving family. He was the  beloved husband of Lisa (Morse) Sargent.

He was born in Haverhill, MA on August 29, 1948 and was the son of the late Everett Sargent and Mary Elizabeth (Kidder) Tonks & her husband Hugh Tonks. Jeff was raised and educated in Plaistow, NH and was a graduate of Sanborn Regional High  School, Class of 1966. He was a surveyor at the TJ Wining company in Londonderry, NH for many years. Jeff was also employed at Advanced Security Services Inc. in Plaistow, working as a security guard at the Emmaus House in Haverhill. He enjoyed gardening, photography, and wood carving. Jeff was an avid baseball fan. He also loved to travel, he has been to Hawaii, Egypt, Peru, Mexico, Romania and cruises throughout  the Caribbean. Jeff will be dearly missed.

Along with his wife he is survived by his daughter Samantha  Pellerin and her husband Graham and grandson Gunner of  Kingston, NH, his brothers Everett "Bill" Sargent and his wife  Helen of Naples, Fl, and Steve Sargent and his wife Barbara of  Danville, NH. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeff was sadly predeceased by his sister Bonnie Sargent.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 4pm-6pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held privately.
