Haverhill, MA:  Jeannette Mary (Comeau) Huberdeau, 92, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2019 at Penacook Place in Haverhill.

She was born in Perth-Amboy, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Neil and Margaret (German) Comeau.  Jeannette was educated and spent most of her early years in Meteghan, Nova Scotia.  She later moved to Haverhill and worked in the shoe shops and for Western Electric.  She was a dedicated homemaker and mother.

Jeannette was a strong, hard-working, compassionate woman, who led a fulfilling life of caring for her children, grandchildren, family and friends.  She was known for her keen sense of humor and a love for her Nova Scotia roots.  She enjoyed playing cards, cooking, visiting and reminiscing with family and friends.  She volunteered for many years at the St. Joseph/All Saints St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Shop.

Jeannette was the wife of Roland Huberdeau, who passed away in 1962, and was the beloved mother of the late Daniel R. Huberdeau.  Her survivors include her dear daughter, Jackaleen Ann Huberdeau, her brother, William Comeau, her daughter-in-law, Cheryl Huberdeau, grandchildren, Jennifer, Edwin and Alex, several great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces, including Dianne Young and Carol Daniel, who assisted her in her later years, and many cousins and special friends.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Gerard Comeau, Eric Comeau and Henri Comeau, and her sisters, Blanche Robichaud and Rose Young.

Relatives and friends are all respectfully invited to attend her calling hours to be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019, from 10 to 11 AM at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA.  Her Funeral Service will follow at 11:15 AM in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.
