Haverhill, MA: Jeannette M. (Goudreault) (Kuzma) Erickson, 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25 at Penacook Place in Haverhill.

Born in Haverhill, daughter of the late Ernest and Rosalie (Gouin) Goudreault, she attended St. Joseph Grammar School. Mrs. Erickson lived for several years in Huntington Beach, CA and returned to her hometown in 1982, spending the rest of her life in Haverhill. She was a former resident of Welcome Street in Haverhill and Carleton Avenue in Bradford.

Jeannette spent many years working in the local shoe industry, and enjoyed telling stories about her experiences as a young mill worker. One of her positions was as a stitcher, and she was always comfortable at the sewing machine, filling her own home with expertly crafted curtains, table linens, and crafted items. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and spent much of her time in later years making gifts for friends and families and knitting hats to donate to the troops.

A wonderful cook and baker, Jeannette was always ready for guests with a cup of coffee and something good to eat. During her years living at the Judson House in Haverhill, she made many lifelong friends, and her door was always open.

Jeannette is survived by a large and loving family, including her sons Richard Kuzma and his wife Patricia Bruno of Haverhill, and Louis Kuzma and his wife Sue of Reno, NV, her nieces and their spouses, Karen and Jim Hopkins, Lois and Steve Johnston, Linda and David Tilden, Jean and David Fraser, Esther Meuse, Joan and George Halkiotis, and Donna Antaramian, her grandchildren Michelle and Richard Kuzma, Trista Richardson, Steven Kuzma and Nathan Kuzma, their spouses, and several great-grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.
