Methuen: Jeanne M. (Brunelle) Michel, age 81, passed away peacefully, on Friday, August 9, 2024. She was born April 5, 1943, in Haverhill Massachusetts, to Gerard and Annette (Huberdeau) Brunelle. She was a  graduate of Saint James High School, Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Jeanne married the love of her life, Raymond Michel on August 28, 1965 in Haverhill Massachusetts. She worked at WHAV radio station and also worked at Raytheon and later Dynamic Research before retiring to enjoy her later years with her husband. They spent their winters in Florida, making many new friends and enjoyed the sun, Irish Dancing and time relaxing by their pool.
Jeanne looked forward to the trips her children would make to Florida, sharing in their many experiences, and always making special new memories along the way. No one went away without one of her strong, loving hugs.
Jeanne truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with her loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, individually, and at the many special family gatherings. Jeanne was a strong matriarch who truly loved from her heart. She was a devoted wife and mother and had a passionate love for her children who were truly the lights in her life. She also enjoyed spending time watching the activity at her home on Forrest Lake in Methuen along with doing needlepoint, crafts with her grandchildren and word search in her leisure time.
Jeanne experienced the greatest loss in her life when  her beloved husband of fifty-six years, Raymond Michel predeceased her in January of 2022.
She is survived by her loving children, Janice Spaulding and husband Tom of Plainfield, NH, Mark Michel and partner Linda Meucci of Plaistow, NH, Paul Michel and wife Lisa of Haverhill, Massachusetts and Laurie Kakides and husband Stephen of Haverhill, Massachusetts; a brother, Richard Brunelle and wife Catherine of Sebring Florida, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, along with a niece, nephews, cousins and friends. Her children and family will always be thankful for the gift that was her life.
Relatives and friends and all those whose lives were touched by Jeanne are invited to her calling hours to be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow. Her funeral will begin on Tuesday at 12 p.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill.
