Haverhill: Jeanne R.M. (Cormier) Gosselin, 58 of Haverhill, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, with her family by her side.

Born in Upland, California, daughter of the late Ernest and Corinne (Hall) Cormier, she moved with her family to the Haverhill area at the age of 7. She was raised primarily in the Bradford section of Haverhill and attended Haverhill public schools.

A member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1983, Jeanne was employed as a young woman at New York Cleaners in Haverhill. She later operated her own home cleaning business.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, daughter and sister, Jeanne was a stay-at-home mom when her children were young assuring a warm and loving home for them. She enjoyed sewing and collecting M & M's memorabilia. In addition to being known as the "M & M's Lady", she was also affectionately known as the "neighborhood mom". Jeanne loved animals and adopted several pets through the New Hampshire SPCA in Stratham and was a collector of stray cats.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of thirty-eight years, Donald R. Gosselin, Jr., a son Eric D. Gosselin of Haverhill, a daughter and son-in-law, Shawna C. and Michael DiMattia of Londonderry, NH; two grandchildren Madelyn and Rowan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Donna Cormier of Haverhill, and B. Michael and Marylou Cormier of Atkinson, NH; a sister and brother-in-law, Judith A. and Alan Pouliot of Berwick, ME, a sister-in-law Patti Cormier of Salem, NH, one aunt Marcia Mooers, and several nieces, nephews cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by brothers Wayne, John, Brian and Alan Cormier.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jeanne's Life Celebration to be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her funeral will be on Tuesday at 10:30 at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. In lieu of flowers, the family would like those making memorial donations to The American Diabetes Association, P.O Box 7023, Merrifield, VA or to NHSPCA, 104 Portsmouth Ave, Stratham, NH.
