(Thibault) Tisbert
January 28, 1937 – February 22, 2018
Danville :Jean C. (Thibault) Tisbert, 81 of Danville and formerly of West Andover, MA, died February 22, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Born and raised in Lawrence, MA, daughter of the late Herve and Florence (Auger) Thibault, she attended Sacred Hearts School in South Lawrence. She was employed as a young woman at the Five and Dime Store and as a cutter in the local shoe industry and later worked as a cook in the school cafeteria at the West Elementary School in Andover. She also was employed at the LANAM Club in Andover and Market Basket.
A longtime resident of West Andover, she and her family operated a farm where one of her favorite chores was milking the cows.
A former member of Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish of Andover and presently a member of Saint Anne's Parish of Hampstead, Mrs. Tisbert enjoyed crocheting, cooking, watching movies and creating a warm and loving home over the years for her late husband and her children.
The wife of 57 years to the late Norman Tisbert, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda J. and Walter Pomierski of Hampstead, and Jean M. and James Ciriello, of Danville, four sons and daughters-in-law, Norman L. Jr. and Robin Tisbert of Epsom, James M. and Jill Tisbert of Deerfield, NH, Daniel R. and Deborah Tisbert of Deerfield, and William L. and Lynn Tisbert of Methuen, MA, also a sister Doris Bauters and her husband Jules of Pelham, fourteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her daughter Carol Newell and a sister Carol Knowlton.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, February 26, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will begin on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Anne's Church, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead. Burial will take place at a later date. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Food Pantry of Saint Anne's Parish, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead.
