Sandown, NH: Janice M. (Pas) Tessier, 74, a resident of Sandown since 2013 and a former longtime resident of Hampstead, died peacefully on March 10, 2023 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA.

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, daughter of the late John and Stella (Seltenrich) Pas, she was raised and educated in North Andover. Janice graduated from North Andover High School and attended Northern Essex Community College.

Janice was employed making communication cables by local defense contractors, including Adams and Russell and A.M.P. She was devoted to her family and to animals. A strong woman, she always put her family first, especially her sons and grandson, and enjoyed cooking healthy and natural meals for them. She also enjoyed macramé, fabric painting, and trips to Rye Beach.

Predeceased in 2009 by her son, Jason F. Tessier, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Dana P. Tessier of Sandown with whom she shared a residence, a grandson Dana P. Tessier,II, of Londonderry, NH, two brothers, Daniel Pas and his wife Donna of Chester, NH and Victor Pas of Franklin, NH, , also nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her sister Natalie Soucie and her sister-in-law Anita Pas.

There will be no services at this time. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
