Janice Ann Sharkey, 68, of Salem, New Hampshire, passed away on August 6, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Winchester, Massachusetts, Janice was the daughter of the late George J. and Ruth E. (Carlin) Sharkey. Janice was raised in Woburn, Massachusetts and was a graduate of Woburn High School, Class of 1976. She moved to New Hampshire and raised her family in Danville.

Janice worked for many years in the office of Pulsar Alarms. She was very fortunate to have coworkers who were like a second family to her. Her perfect day was spent on the water, kayaking and fishing. She enjoyed gardening and truly had a green thumb.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two beloved children, Crystal and Timothy “TJ” Sheehan and her sister Susan Hartley. She is survived by her grandsons, Nick Brennan, Jonathan Sheehan, and Derek Sheehan, who brought her much pride and joy. She is also survived by her loving sister Sandra Kirby and her husband Mark of North Reading, and several nieces and nephews.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
