Haverhill: Janice R. (Comeau) Roy, 69, a native and lifelong resident of Haverhill, died November 24, 2017 at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill.

Daughter of the late Anselm and Rita (Charron) Comeau, she was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1966 and was employed for thirty years at Western Electric, AT & T Technologies and Lucent Technologies.

A member of the former Saint Joseph Parish of Haverhill, Janice was a devoted grandmother and avid reader and also enjoyed motorcycling and dining out regularly.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-one years, John A. Roy, a daughter and son-in-law, Jamie R. and Jason Deslauriers of Salem, NH, a grand-daughter Marley E. Deslauriers, a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Elaine Comeau of Haverhill, a niece and a nephew, a great-niece and great-nephew, and several cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at BERUBE- Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her service will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home and follow with burial in Hillside Cemetery, Broadway, Haverhill.
